Terms of use

1. Adults only. You must be 18 or over to use SkillBarter.
2. Swaps are at your own risk. During the pilot, SkillBarter introduces members to each other. Members then arrange and carry out swaps themselves. SkillBarter doesn't check members' skills or backgrounds, and swaps are at your own risk.
3. Stay safe. Meet in a public place for your first swaps, and keep your address private until you're comfortable.
4. Some help isn't allowed. Please don't offer or ask for:
   • Childcare
   • Personal care
   • Gas or electrical work
   • Hairdressing or beauty treatments
   • Medical care or therapy
   • Legal or financial advice
   • Driving lessons
   • Lifts in cars
   Use a qualified professional for these.
5. Be kind and honest. No harassment, scams or selling. Report anything that worries you using the Report button.
6. Breaking the rules. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
